First Baptist Church of Oak Park's
Building Accomplishments and Needs

First Baptist Church of Oak Park's present facility was built in 1921 with the Community Center and Preschool added in 1927. It was designed by E. E. Roberts, a contemporary of Frank Lloyd Wright's.

Our Church has undergone many renovations in the past ten years. Our Gifts of Glory Campaign has made possible the restoration of our sanctuary, organ, sound ministry, chapel, dining room, parlor, handicap accessible washrooms, and handicap ramp.

The following photographs document projects which have been completed, works in progress, and hopes and needs for the future, as well as architectural elements.
