First Baptist Church of Oak Park's present facility was built in 1921 with the Community Center and Preschool added in 1927. It was designed by E. E. Roberts, a contemporary of Frank Lloyd Wright's.

This early photo (circa 1920) shows the bell tower and the east Ontario entrance being built.  The cornerstone 1921 will be placed near center of the base at a later ceremony.

Our Church has undergone many renovations in the past ten years. Our Gifts of Glory Campaign has made possible the restoration of our sanctuary, organ, sound ministry, chapel, dining room, parlor, handicap accessible washrooms, and handicap ramp.
