MARK YOUR CALENDARS:

It's the start of a new school year, and we have a ton of fun things in the works. Remember to check your e-mail and read the Tower Tidings to keep in the loop.  Some important dates:

Sunday, September 21 = NO SUNDAY SCHOOL due to a 5K my husband and I are walking.  Say a prayer for us to stay safe!

Wednesday, September 24 = See You at the Pole. Check with your schools to see what time they are gathering.

Sunday, September 28 = NO SUNDAY SCHOOL due to the annual church meeting.

Sunday, October 5 = Family Fun Day at the Brookfield Zoo for middle school and high school students.

Wednesday, November 26 = Volunteering with Feed My Starving Children in Aurora.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:

11:30AM - 12:30AM

On Sunday, October 5, we'll be starting a study on the Book of Judges. This book is full of people who were consistently making mistakes. After the death of Joshua, there was no strong leader for the Israelites, and so they fell into sin.  Time after time, they turn away from God. And time after time, God forgives them.

So this is the story of an unfaithful people and a faithful God.

Join us as we learn what this means for our lives and how we can experience the same love and faithfulness of God.

WEDNESDAY YOUTH GROUP:

4:00PM - 6:00PM = Hang Time

Enjoy this time dedicated to building relationships and encouraging others as we continue to face our busy weeks.  Come ready for:
  • Friendship - Connect with other students from the church and community.
  • Laughter - By the time we reach the middle of the week, we all need a laugh.
  • God - Bible study immediately follows hang time.
6:00PM - 7:30PM = Bible Study

We are currently studying Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis.  We have journeyed through the first three sections of the book and are now in the fourth and final section.

Lewis was born in 1898 and died in 1963. He was one of the most influential writers of his time, and he is arguable one of the most influential writers of our time. His insight transcends time and culture. We hope to study his works and find ways to apply them to our own lives.
