Gratitude Luncheon
11:30 a.m., Sunday, November 23

You are cordially invited to the Gratitude Luncheon that will be held immediately following the worship service on Sunday, November 24. Together we will enjoy a Thanksgiving feast catered by Robinson’s #1 Ribs.  Spiritual giants throughout the ages have identified gratitude as one of the keys to spiritual growth. As we recognize all that God has given us and done for us, our hearts are overwhelmed with thankfulness. This in turn draws us closer to the Lord, growing into an intimate friendship. We trust that this dinner and program will lead you to a closer walk with Jesus. A free will offering will be received. Please invite your family and friends!

"Celebrate the Season" A Festival of Christmas Music
4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 21

We are excited to be collaborating with First Presbyterian Church of River Forest on our 2014 Christmas Concert, “Celebrate the Season.” The concert will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21 in our church sanctuary. This will be a thrilling afternoon, filled with a large variety of both new and familiar Christmas music. There will be a small chamber orchestra to accompany the 60 voices of the combined choirs and we will feature vocal artistry of Douglas Anderson, Elizabeth Harrison, and Susie Raney. Get ready for ‘dueling pianos’ as a second grand piano will be brought in for Joel Raney, Diane Duncan, and Jane Holstein to present some exciting keyboard music, and the new Rodgers organ will be featured as Jane and Joel premier a new composition by Joel entitled Christmas Excursions for Piano and Organ. “Celebrate the Season” will be a concert you do not want to miss!!
