This book of wisdom explores the question of “what is the meaning of life?” The men of the church are invited to join for this time of study and fellowship.

The Life You've Always Wanted StudyYou are invited to join us on Sunday mornings at 11:30 in the Parlor as the pastor leads a study of the popular Best Seller, The Life You’ve Always Wanted by John Ortberg. The six week class will began on January 11 and includes a video talk by the author. The course explores the question, “What does true spiritual life really look like?” What keeps you from living such a life? What can you do to pursue it? If you are tired of the status quo – if you suspect that there is more to Christianity than what you have experienced, John Ortberg points to a road of transformation and spiritual vigor that anyone can take. It is one that leads to the life you have always wanted. Copies of the text are available for $10.

Ash Wednesday ServiceAsh Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent. This is a forty day period that leads up to Easter. For many within the Christian community it is a time of spiritual refection and growth. It has become our custom to usher in the season of Lent with an Ash Wednesday worship service. You are invited to join us in our chapel at 6:30 p.m. for a quiet meditative service where we reflect on our mortality, our sinfulness and the grace of God. There is no sermon. Instead the service is characterized by scripture, song and meditation. Several people have indicated that this is their favorite worship service of the year. We invite you to join us as we begin our spiritual journey to Golgotha and the empty tomb.
